Orbisk is a start-up with a clear mission: to make the global food system more sustainable. The start-up provides complete insights into the food flows of hospitality organizations. Orbisk does this by offering a smart camera and scale that uses image recognition to register which food is thrown away, when and in what quantity. The customer can view this data in the dashboard, which provides insight into food wastage and can be used to reduce it.

As a working student, your main responsibility will be to support our Operations team. You will be involved in the whole process, from the packaging and delivery of the Orbis to our Dutch customers, as well as preparing them for shipment to our international customers. The working hours will vary depending on how many deliveries and shipments are required each week.
You will be responsible for the following tasks:

Overall checking and preparing the Orbis, so they are ready to be installed or shipped;

Support on assembly tasks for shipment readiness of the devices, such as final assembly work, packaging and labelling;

Delivering and installing the Orbis at the respective customers;
